Board Positions Up for Reelection

The SRC has three positions that are up for reelection.


Jeff - MNSRC Board President

Jeff Filipek is currently serving his first year as the President of the referee committee.  The President shall preside at all meetings of the Board of Directors and shall oversee the long-term goals and purposes of this corporation. The President shall be chief executive officer of this corporation, shall be responsible for the day-to-day operations of this corporation, and shall have all of the powers and duties normally belonging to the President, Chief Executive Officer, or Executive Director of a Minnesota nonprofit corporation. He or she shall also perform such other duties as may be determined from time to time by the Board of Directors.  If re-elected, he may serve for up to a maximum of six (6) one-year terms.

Jim Engelking has served as the State Director of Assignment for over 10 years.  He is responsible for developing an assignor network that meets the needs of the SRC.  He is also responsible for working collaboratively with assignors and competitions, organizing and instructing courses and clinics for assignors, and developing in-service training materials for assignors.  If reelected, he may serve a two year term.

Brian - MNSRC Board Member

Brian Koehler is currently serving his first term as the State Director of Instruction.  He is responsible for developing a Referee Mentor and Referee Coach network and oversee the needs of the SRC.  He is also responsible for organizing courses and clinics for referees, providing clarification on the interpretation and application of the laws of the game, and organizing courses and clinics for Referee Mentors and Referee Coaches.  If reelected he may serve a two year term.
