RECERTIFY FOR 2027 (before June 30, 2027)

Renew your certification for 2027 now! You can recertify as a referee if you have not let your license lapse for more than 3 consecutive registration years.
The entire process is conducted online via the US Soccer Learning Center. Remember to renew your certification by late winter to secure early-season game assignments.

NB: Make sure your mailing address is up to date and accurate in your USSF profile on the Learning Center so that you receive your new badge! We mail badges monthly and more frequently from January to April during the peak recertification period.

STEP TWO
REQUIRED COURSES
There are three required safety certifications for all U.S. Soccer and Futsal Officials. They are:
-
Introduction to Safe and Healthy Playing Environments
-
NSIC Backround Check for adults
-
SafeSport
These courses will be included in the assignments for all U.S. Soccer certifications. Completion of the course on one certification will carry over to other certifications… for example, if you certify as a referee and then certify as an assignor, Safety Certifications completed for your referee license will be carried over to the requirements for the assignor certification and not need to be repeated.

STEP THREE
REFEREE RECERTIFICATION
Go to Courses > Available Courses and select Recertifying Referees from the left side menu. Register for the 2027 MNSRC/US Soccer Online Re-Certification. Go to My Courses > Go to Classroom > Assignments and view your compliance assignment (depending on your age). You must complete any assignment not shown in green. The bottom of the screen will have your Referee License assignments.
Please reference the instruction links above for additional details.

Upon completion of all assignments the USSLC will automatically approve your license. Badges are mailed the month after you renew your licensure to the address listed on your USSF profile.
